Hi Russell. I enjoyed your `Three Hour Apple Expert´ seminar on July 2. The venue was very comfortable, the presentation was humorous and well illustrated, the question and answer period instructive. I’m definitely more confident trying out new applications on my Mac. Much of the information was new to me and as a copy of the talk was promised I did not take copious notes. I attended with a friend and as we had a reduced rate it was very good value and both of us are keen to go to another. Although I haven't had the opportunity to call on your personal service, I certainly would. Looking forward to a CD of the seminar.

The discovery of Russell Newton is a true blessing! He is very well skilled in his profession as an Apple computer specialist. He absolutely knows how to go about with the Mac's and can explain very clearly to a not so computer minded person what the problem is and more important how to solve it. So unlike other computer specialists I have come across with. They seem to speak a different language. Also his enthusiasm in his work is very nice to experience and gives you the positive feeling your computer is in good hands. He will admit when he has made a wrong diagnose (this is very rare). And as if it is his personal problem he will keep looking for a solution. I learned of useful little shortcuts he uses and to be more confident with my computer. His first seminar was very clever and I do hope he will continue with that. He does not over charge at all, I have the impression he sees your problem as a new experience to solve and therefore will charge you very fairly and sometimes even too little compared to the time he is using.

We recently bought an iMac computer for home use. This is our first venture into the world of Apple. I wanted just to send you a short note regarding the exceptional service you have given me thus far. With a major hard drive 'collapse' on my hands and the prospect of losing 'years' of very valuable data - you solved the issue (with a bit of help from my, 18 months old, back-up) in double quick time and got me back in to business with little to no angst from me. I was both surprised and relieved that your solution was rapid, unflustered and unhurried. Calm and, I have to say, honest appraisal and 'fix'! I appreciated that you could meet me at a place most convenient to me, go through the 'fix' & deliver, what amounts to, a 'clean' and refurbished MacBook. And - the big surprise - the cost! When I told a local PC 'fundi' what you had done - his estimate of cost was about 30% higher than you charged! Having said , I found it 'value' rather than 'cheap' - so no putting up your prices now! The ongoing online support and clues are a bonus - and you give them very willingly. I expect that this will (should?) have a limit - and is not an open ended bonus. Great stuff - well done and all the bet for success. I will certainly both use and recommend you. All the best.

After many years in the wilderness in regard to virtually all Apple software, Russell Newton was recommended to me last year by a friend. Russell has more than fulfilled my requirements for updating, service of and improvement of my software. I have been a very satisfied Macintosh user since 1985. I know no-one other than Russell in Europe to entrust with my continued use of my eight Macintosh's acquired between 1985 and this year, which are all in good working order. The fees he charges for his work are always fair. His official certification by Apple will no doubt lead to increasing his workload, which may mean that he cannot remain a one-man organization. I have no doubt he is capable of finding and training competent assistance. I would recommend Russell to any serious user of Apple products.

Being a Mac owner is always a pleasure and, to quote Macs for Dummies, ‘When Bad Things Happen to Good Machines’ here in the Algarve, help, advice and technical support has been a problem. Until now. Russell's here! He not only understands Macs but he's aware of how we "Macistas" feel when deprived of the use of our beloved computers. Hence his 48 hour support via email which can solve most Mac software problems. For the hardware, the turn-round is equally swift depending on the problem.
