• Display your personalised certificate and a logo that distinguishes you as an Apple Certified professional
Becoming an Apple Certified Support Professional requires sitting the OS X Support Essentials 10.11 Exam at an Apple Authorised Training Centre. However, preparing for the exam is normally done by either of the following:
1. Self-study. This approach suits highly motivated individuals who have access to the appropriate resources, tools and processes. It requires the purchase of the book OS X Support Essentials 10.11 by Kevin M. White and Gordon Davisson (ePub or paperback).
2. Attending a course at an Apple Authorised Training Centre (AATC). This will typically cost around €1,250 (plus tax). Of course, accommodation and travel would also need to be taken into account if the course is not in the city where you live. This is an appealing approach as the the training centre will provide all of the necessary guidance and resources.
However, I can offer you a third option…
I am an Apple Certified Trainer for OS X El Capitan Support Essentials and, although I do not work at an AATC, I can provide you with the same training materials and the same guidance. What’s more, I can offer much more flexible training options either remotely online or here in sunny Algarve. I will thoroughly prepare you for the exam and assist you in finding the best time and place for you to sit it.
iPad & iPhone Training
ACiT is a brand new certification from Apple that verifies the ability to service iPhone, iPad, Watch and Apple TV. It is a requirement for those working as iOS technicians at Apple Authorised Service Providers (AASP) or within organisations with an Apple Self Servicing Account (SSA). Additionally, being an ACiT verifies desirable knowledge and skills that may be sought by potential employers who use or service Apple products. Hence it is a valuable qualification for those looking for work in certain fields.
